Bio
Grayson Gayle is a Dallas–Fort Worth based trumpet player and software developer. In addition to serving as principal trumpet of the Midland Symphony Orchestra in Michigan, he is a trumpet instructor in Southlake Carroll ISD.
Grayson has performed with orchestras across the United States, including the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the Austin Symphony Orchestra, the New World Symphony, The Orchestra San Antonio, and the Allen Philharmonic. He has also appeared as a soloist for dozens of weddings, funerals, corporate events, and special occasions throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Grayson holds a Master’s degree in Trumpet Performance from The University of Texas at Austin, where he studied under Billy Hunter of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems with a certificate in Computer Science.
Alongside trumpet performance, Grayson develops software that supports musicians and educators. In 2024, he founded Cadence Calendar to help freelance educators manage students, scheduling, and studio operations.
